Ms. Nishtha Wadhwa moved to Canada in February 2018 and enrolled with the National Committee of Accreditation, Federation of Law Societies of Canada in October 2018. She completed the assessment exams and passed the Ontario Bar Exams within 11 Months of enrolling in November 2019. While studying for her Bar Exams and working full time, she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Immigration Law at Anderson College, North York, Ontario.
Ms. Wadhwa was called to the Bar of Ontario on August 28, 2020; having extensive legal experience, Ms. Wadhwa can meet the needs and respond to the subtle challenges of culturally and ethnically diverse clients. She is continually updating herself on the current trends in Law & technology, how both can work together to serve her clients' needs better. Ms. Wadhwa strongly believes that she can always put her clients' best interests ahead of anything and zealously represent her clients. She is ready to fight tooth and nail to get her client what they seek and deserve.
Nishtha Wadhwa completed her legal studies in India from the prestigious Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, and was called to the Bar in August 2012. After which, Ms. Wadhwa worked in a well-known boutique law firm in New Delhi. While working as a lawyer, Ms. Wadhwa completed two post-graduate diplomas with the prestigious Indian Law Institute, Bhagwandas Road, opposite Supreme Court of India, Delhi. The diplomas allowed her to specialize in Intellectual Property Rights and Cyber Law. She was awarded a Gold-Medal from the then Honorable Chief Justice of India, S. H, Kapadia, for achieving the highest marks in the Post-Graduate Diploma. After working in New Delhi, Ms. Wadhwa decided to improve her skills further and joined the Master of Laws program at Kurukshetra university in 2012.
While in India, Ms. Wadhwa worked on various practice areas such as Family Law, Criminal Law, Cyber Law & Wills and Estate Law. She specialized in Family Law and is to this day appreciated by her then clients.
